I've had mixed luck, like it really does come in waves. No wolves for a day or two, then 5 in 2 hours. Encounters in similar manner, nothing for hours on end, only to end up with 2-3 back to back.

I don't know what it was like before the KB update, but I've only gotten one WW out of 17 encounters >> (I have 16 KB) Granted I'm not really grinding a whole lot but it does feel like encounters are a super low possibility, even when in the third sword area.

Got my first ww yesterday after 11 total encounters. had four in one day. maybe i'm just lucky. sold her off because i didnt care for her but i don't think i'll be getting another ww for a while either.

"It didn't like that" haunts my dreams because I have yet to see what the other message is. Most of my wolves are bought WW, I just want my own

I have encountered 22 wild wolves and none have joined my den yet.

Edit: My 32nd WW encounter was a success.

Edit2: I am getting my second WW with 50 KB tokens.

I got 2 in a row, and in total 3 after the knuckle bones update

It's been about right on the 1/10 encounters odds for me. I have had 21 encounters and found 2 WW since the KB update

Yeah i think I have almost 40 KB since the update and that kinda says how my luck is going although I didnt have much luck before that either

I haven't gotten one yet, and i haven't had that many encounters either. i've spent plenty of time in the campaign, but it feels like i'm extremely unlucky.

I've had only 4 encounters since the update despite campaigning daily. As it stands I'll be shocked if I reach 50 knucklebones anytime this year.
