(Please do not use this thread to complain about wild wolf rates, there are many other threads for that. Keep this one silly and fun!)

Title says it all. Do you have any little in-game rituals that you do out of habit or because you have a superstition that they help in some way? Share them here!

Personally, I feel bad for my mining wolves. I always swap them out into fishing after a day so that they get a "vacation." Then I try not to use the same wolf for mining for at least a few days.

Also, whenever I get a wild wolf, I always finish the energy bar before I go look at it. Some part of my brain is convinced that this makes it more likely to get another encounter within the same energy bar and/or will make the new wolf look nicer up-close.

I have to play with all my companions at once, because i don't want anyone feeling left out lol

And I ALSO always do that with the energy bar as well xD I dunno why haha.

Editing in because I saw someone else's post after me, unless I absolutely can't, I always, always finish specific activities together. Namely, 5 and 15 mine, and 3 and 10 cook. It's nice getting them done together because it's usually a good wait before I can do either again, especially mine.

I also finish the energy bar before checking the new WW XD

Also about WW, when befriending them if I'm campaigning with a wolf with an interesting tail (brighter, lighter or with a noticeable different color from their body like this guy) I always go for wagging the tail hoping that the color will somehow convince the WW to join the pack XD

i feel bad leaving my wolves down in the mine if i'm done playing for the day, so i always make sure to send them on a trip back to the furnace if they're not already there

This feels more out of practicality, but I tend to play with my campaign companions (and other companions who need it) before I go to bed. I know I won't want to swap them out by then.

Oh ajdjjsjdhbs I'm quite the opposite of most here I think-

I ALWAYS have to check the WW if i manage to find one, because in the beginning of my account ut seemed I'd get another prompt as soon as id go back to new campaign!

I only have 1 mining wolf (who i only occasionally swap out) because i saw his colors and thought it'd be cute if he picked that job for himself haha he takes breaks and swaps out occasionally with another in my den who im lowkey just cannoning as his apprentice

I always make sure my activities in top bar "stack" though (mine 5 ore , mine 15 ore or cook 3 things, cook 10 things) have to be up at ONCE or i won't do them ore have all 3 explore quests up there at once before i explore at all- it feels wromg if i don't tbh

I tend to feed the gardeners before i go to bed too, i don't have problem watching my own plants usually but I dunno smthn feels nice abt giving npcs a snack here and there since i cant watch own crops when im in bed sjfjjwjd haha

If i have multiple nests ready on same day i try to wait until ALL are ready to be born before seeing the puppies, its just nice sometimes for IDS to pair up.withbthe nest before sometimes and i get the little joy thinking all the mother woofs are watching the babies together

There's probably more silly things i do but thats all i can think of rn haha
