Right now they are way too common encounters for mining and fishing lv 35 which drain stamina for nothing and you can keep accidentally redeem them when you don’t want to since there is 0 confirmation button after you click redeem so I have been accidentally grab 4 ox while I only want 1 and since no bank or vault system yet there is no way I can lock my ressources.

They both should be super rare encounters like Kapros and make you feel accomplished when you find one encounter not getting 5 of them in a row. Please adjust the encounter rates for those 2 encounters and add a confirmation button if you really want the exchange. Thank you very much.

As someone who levels wolves in Southmarsh, major support. There is no reason for it to be as common as it is, people aren't gonna want 32673 copies of it. It's just super annoying after a while and wastes stamina.

And a confirmation button is needed, of course.

I would rather have an alternate choice that is a different interaction for xp/trinket drop from the stork/ox's pool of loot

so for example it might be something like

Offer Fish/Bars

Tilt Your Head (drops 2xp + a stork/ox trinket)

(people USED to want extra copies when the item exchange was worth it to sell for pebbles - it was a nice pebble income!)

The option to get something else for the encounter, like a trinket and some xp, is a good idea too!

Hm, I support the intent but not the proposed fix here; the kapros rate is way too low, it's very frustrating and I assume meant as an additional challenge to up the kapros' rarity but just ends up killing any momentum and satisfaction from achieving the item and crafting grind that comes before.

I'd suggest a slightly different fix - filter the ox and stork encounters to only show up when the player has the required cost in their inventory, just like how the kapros encounter only shows up when the requirements are fulfilled. That would nip the whole frustration of having to repeatedly decline an encounter you can't afford.

The only players that would still have an issue after that fix would be those who have enough bars/fish to purchase an ox or stork but don't want to buy one. Best fix for that particular circumstance would be a vault/lock function in the inventory. Reducing the rates slightly might help as a temp fix but would have the drawback of players who do want to get the encounter to have greater frustration and I don't think that's a good tradeoff.

Honestly, these kinds of encounters just aren't a great fit for campaign with its randomised encounter system. They'd work better as hunting quests that only show up when you have the required items like the knucklebones/ww hunt does, or even just a straightforward shop that does item swaps instead of currency sales. Maybe having a separate 'special hunts' section so ox/stork/ww hunts don't clog up the randomised hunt list and can be made available immediately without having to clear a slot first would be good, and allow for more like them to be added as needed.

Huge support for Quid's suggestion of removing those encounters from the campaign and giving them their own hunting quests, instead!
