Entropy: The gradual and inevitable decline of the universe into a state of complete disorder.

Starspiral steps lightly through the underbrush, relying on the dappled shadows cast by the bright moon above to mask stars movement. A strange darkness twines its way through the trees, thicker than shadows and moving in the absence of wind. Stars pack is safe in their den, aside from the young pup Everstar, who bounds through the low lying branches above stars. Sometimes star thinks he is more squirrel than wolf. She smiles.

Following the darkness as it gets thicker, they come to a cairn of stones. The rock looks rotted, in a way Starspiral had thought only living things could decompose. A faint, flickering silver glow struggles against the darkness, but it is clearly losing the battle.

"Mika's teeth," Everstar breathes above stars, and all at once it hits. This is the monument to Mika - not her hidden shrine, but essentially, her grave. Starspiral's tail and ears lower and star feels a snarl forming on stars lips.

Not willing to risk attracting the attention of the shadows, she signals in Darksign to Everstar. Warn the pack. War on the horizon.

Everstar bounds carefully off, and Starspiral carefully retreats to a distance and considers their next move. Knowing stars history well, star thinks that there's every likelihood that they won't be able to fight this on their own. They need more information, though.

Star then carefully gathers stars strength and bounds up into the trees starself. Keeping watch through the long night, star sees the glow sputter, fade, and eventually, wink out. It is the darkest part of the night, when the moon has set but just before the first greys of day start to bite into the air, when star sees two pinpricks of a dirtlike, rusty grey blink into existence.

With horror, stars other senses detect the form holding up the two spots. A lithe body, all too familiar, holding eyes once the color of the moon and now tarnished like old metal. Revenant magic.

All at once, star feels a poisonous dread creep over stars. The tarnished eyes are staring right at stars. Unblinking, unmoving, they follow Starspiral as star bounds off. A deep discordant howl chases stars back to the den, feeling as if it is shaking the very roots of the mountains and seeping into the streams. It grows into a crescendo, and star listens in horror as one, two, - three more notes answer from far way.

They cannot fight this alone.

• Open to two Icerun, two Murkwood, one Darkspine, and one Goldsea pack, plus a Goldsea friend who has already agreed to join.
• Preference is to keep this fairly site lore compliant, with the exception of RP canon that is later contradicted by new site lore. Not gonna be super strict about this however.

Want (what desire is more important to pursue): To be perfect in all things, and to be liked and adored by everyone.

Need (what can they not do without, that may conflict with their want): Due to the fact that he’s desperate to be perfect and universally loved, he cannot handle failure. He NEEDS to succeed at everything, and to have everyone recognize his success. But this just isn’t possible. Failure happens to everyone, and for Caramel, this leads to denial of mistakes, being a sore loser, shifting blame to others, etc. But all of these things can end up making others not like him, which denies him the very thing he craves the most. (I hope I answered this part right, I’m not entirely sure what it means).

Flaw (what holds them back): He does have a bit of an ego. Though he manages it well, sometimes his pride becomes a problem. He also has issues with admitting his faults, and does not handle failure well.

Quirk (what's a unique aspect of their personality): Though he may not look like it, Caramel is an exceptional cook.

Caramel lives in the isolated town of Morrowmoon, located on a mountain called Mount Lycaon, in the land of Icerun. Wolves in this town worship a local goddess known as The Dreamkeeper who lives at the summit of the mountain and protects the town from harm. The Dreamkeeper communicates to Her subjects via Her high priestess/girlfriend Vesperonsa. Morrowmoon wolves are very mistrustful of outsiders, though Caramel tends to hide it better than others. Outsiders who visit Morrowmoon but stay on Mount Lycaon too long tend to forget where they came from, leading them to stay in the only place they remember. After a while, everyone else in the town forgets that they were an outsider in the first place.

Caramel was one of these outsiders, who now fully believes that he has always lived in Morrowmoon, which matches the memories of everyone else. Caramel works as one of the five main guards of the town. In fact, he’s actually Fenrir’s second in command (Fenrir being his boss, the head guard).

My lore won’t contradict with canon. Though my wolves worship The Dreamkeeper, they do acknowledge that the Spirit Wolves exist. They just think of them as extremely powerful beings who have mastered the use of Aura Magic, but not divine. It’s the same way I think of Leonardo Da Vinci as an extremely skilled artist, but I don’t worship him as a god.

What happens in this rp will not be canon to my lore, this is just a fun activity I’m using Caramel for. I can’t wait to start!

I don't want to control too much of it, but I can say the idea I had in mind was basically that the spirit wolves have all been awoken as revenants and are raising an army, to spread Chaos over the land and potentially march on Mistvale and try to free Korvo. I mean, all that can change as it progresses of course, but hopefully that helps ^^

@DemonicFox27 As long as you're chill with the RP proceeding while you're not able to log on, I'm fine with that! In fact, I think I'm going to add a "bench" set of slots, 1 of each pack, for people who would like to join but may have long absences, that way those players can jump in when they do have availability but won't be expected to have more consistent replies ^^

Flaw (what holds them back): She is a perfectionist and tends to spend too much energy towards things that others might see as minor until they are perfect in her eyes. She also holds high standards to herself and can’t very good with failure. In some aspects she holds these standards to others.

Quirk (what’s a unique aspect to their personality): She is good at logical reasoning and can come to logical conclusion quickly.

Her parents held her and her sister to very high and expected perfection. They both gave their best, but only her sister could meet those standards. She would try twice as hard, yet it seemed to be never enough for her parents. Once she realized this, she decided to leave her family and travel around Loria until she found her purpose. During her travels she met Finian and Sincere Wishbright and decided to stay with them for a while. They became good friends and had the idea to create a place there everyone is accepted as they are.
