Problem with assigning a referee

I copy-pasted the account name of the person who referred me, and I got the rewards, but it put the wrong number and now it says I've been referred by someone I don't even know. Is there any way to change this? I used copy/paste. It shouldn't have changed the number that was put in.

Using a # has been causing issues with the referrer system; be sure to submit a ticket to try and get this changed, like others are doing - best of luck !
