When starting an activity, such as hunting or fishing, we should have an option to feed our wolves when the 'not enough energy' box pops up. Rather than simply allowing us to exit the pop-up, add a 'Feed Wolves' button. With some activities, you can't see the energy of the wolf assigned to the task (or at least, I can't on either my PC or phone screen - I have to scroll down a bit). With hunts in particular, wolves often have to double up on tasks (such as hunting while also mining) due to the different synergy requirements. Needing to constantly switch between my den/companions/wolf profiles switching things around to do a hunt kind of distracts me from their energy bars. And at the end, I just want to finally click off the page and do a different activity. Which is when the energy notice pops up. Even with the option right there, I don't always notice they're not full, and need to back out of the notice, sometimes scroll down to the button, feed the wolves, and then start the activity again is a bit annoying. I doesn't take that long, just a few seconds, but it's still annoying. It would also be nice if running out of energy in the campaign didn't boot you out immediately and gave you a chance to feed as well. The feed button *is* right there already, but it can be a bit easy to lose track if you're making sure you're hitting the right response, or watching something while grinding. Again, not a bit deal, but annoying.
