The best thing to do is go to the Flea Market, search for wolves for sale of similar breed/color/markings, and see what they are priced at.

Prices are all over the place but a lot of common wolves are not selling right now as there are just so many in the game.

Lately I just level my wolves to 10 and release them for the 10kp and the knucklebone which is more than they would have sold for.
