Okay! Data is here. Sorry for the wait everyone…

We only got thirty responses, which isn’t the largest sample size, so keep in mind that this data may not be fully correct! I will be reopening the quiz after this and leaving it that way until we get a more confident sample size. That being said, this was also just for fun, so there’s no guarantee I’ll be around to release any more data. While I do enjoy lorewolf, I’m much more active over on flight rising.

Onto the data!

Breed isn’t that surprising to me. From what I know Bracchus was a release exclusive, so it’s expected that they’d be more popular. I expect things to even out more as time goes on and each breed becomes completely accessible because of breeding.

Now the accent choice is very surprising to me, but only because I’m not a huge fan of Merle. It just had such a surprising lead, having over half the votes, though it is one of the larger accents, so the greater change it gives may be a good reason for this. Of course, where the accent goes, the others would follow so under’s Merle win isn’t all that surprising. I wonder how Brush and Stripes tied for Top. While I expected Brush, Stripes was a left fielder. Personally, I don’t find it that appealing, but I understand that it also provides a larger change to a wolf, so that’s a good reason for it to get some attention.

Now colors…

This is the point where I admit that this is the first time I've ever hosted a data collection like this, and it really shows with my lack of restrictions or hard rules on color choices. Note to anyone who wants to do something like this in the future: Make sure you tell people to choose only one color, and go EITHER a range or a specific color. Having both ranges and specific has made my life much harder…

That being said, the way I decided to go about presenting these is through ranges. I’ve divided colors into each range, and tallied the votes that way. I know this isn’t how I said I’d do it, but having free response means that people had answers all over the board, some of which I couldn’t include in the data because they were just so general, and some of which included more than one color in their answer. Those with more than one answer I included as multiple votes, which I know isn’t the best way to do it, but I didn’t have any other way to get enough votes without choosing from them and skewing the data that way. It’ll be this part of the data that is most likely to be incorrect because of these inconsistencies.

And the results for color are… expected and simple. I was hoping for some mismash of a wolf with wild colors, but with the amount of pure whites/black we get on here, this was no surprise. Still interesting though. I expect most of these to stay the same with continued collection. There’s just no breaking past black/whites.

And, of course, onto the scry(s)! Unfortunately, no matter what I did, I for some reason couldn’t upload the pictures on here…they just wouldn’t show up after I input the links. SO! I’ll just be posting the combos I used in each scry. Because we were working with ranges, I chose the color that shared a name with the range, or the color that most closely resembled the range (looking at the lack of a normal ‘brown’ with disdain here)

I converted the images into urls using multiple sites, not including discord because it'll be going down as an image hosting site here soon and I don't want to make a habit of using it. The part that didn't work was when I put the image urls into the picture option on the forums and after clicking to insert the image, nothing appeared. I believe it's just lorwolf being funky. If you can't input the options into the demo, I could maybe message you the photos over discord? I'm just at a standstill for getting them on here, but I don't mind sending them offsite!

I don't really know how Discord works, but my username is MoonstonetheLynx. I created it ages ago...
