@Silvershadow @Vanitatum There will be more colouring competitions in the future with different apparel/item/companion bases. Different-shaped standards may appear at some point down the line.

@BirdOfLight As long as you have a program that can open and edit .psd files, you can participate! Your question seems to have gotten missed, so I thought I'd provide an answer. :D

I don't know about programs specifically on Chromebooks or Macs, but a ton of art programs can edit .psd files. Photoshop is most widely known (but expensive!), but I know there's also MediBang and Krita that are free to use. Looks like Autodesk Sketchbook is also free. And there's probably a ton more I don't know. As for paid, Clip Studio Paint is the most popular one I know of (and reasonably priced).

@Silvershadow - I don't know much about Magma Studio but if it has similar functionality to other programs, then you'll color on the layer labeled 'Base' under Folder 1. It's tiered under the banner lineart, and there's separate base layers for the pole and the dirt (as well as a line layer for the dirt). If Magma Studio has the ability to lock transparent pixels, you can lock that base layer and color right on top of it. If you want everything to be separated and Magma Studio lets you use layer masks/clipping, you can create layers on top of the base and mask/clip them over the base so it won't bleed outside of that single layer.

It's kinda hard not to use technical terms so I did a screenshot in Clip Studio if it helps with a visual. The 'Lock Transparent Pixels' is three icons to the right of 'Clip to layer below' - looks like a lock with a checkerboard pattern.

Again, not sure what your program allows, but hopefully this helps point you in the right direction some!
