[Announcements] Front page announcement to link directly to the forum post

Very plain and simple; I think it would be great if the big announcements on the front page immediately linked to the actual forum posts that allows us to reply to it. Right now, if I want to say or ask something about the announcement, I have to navigate to the forum, to the announcements sub forum and then to the specific announcement. This feels a bit roundabout and could easily be fixed by making the front page announcement a direct link.

Yes! I would love if there was a news post banner, and clicking the banner would link to the post itself. But a little "Click here to see this announcement on the forums" near the top of the post would also tide me over until better solutions are determined. :D

Oh yes, this is a very good suggestion. Even just have the front page be a blurb and you go to the forums to read the rest and interact. Always nice suggestions from you.

Yes, this would be such a QoL increase when trying to go excavate whatever info is needed from a dev post after the initial read.
