ICERUN
The Frozen Strand is referred to as a tundra, but also includes a forest, so if you're looking to research the environment in general both tundra and taiga forest / boreal forests may be good starting points. Farther north, the Crystalpeak Mountains are likely alpine environments. Generally, I find looking at places such as the Gates of the Arctic National Park in northern Alaska's Brooks Range to be a similar environment to what the Frozen Strand appears to be. (They may be in a slightly warmer area as well, up to interpretation). It's also worth noting that there no "roads" referred to as much as there are trails.

I won't list all apparel that will fit, but Windborne colors appear to be red/orange, while Frostmaw is largely blue/green. NPCs wear leather armor, harnesses, weapons / tools, and other adornments like scarves and banners in their pack colors. Icerun wolves are at war and their culture tends to reflect that. Interestingly, they seem to have carts that they or another animal pull, similar to sled wolves.
