For general tips, I'd say start with the achievements (Under Den dropdown), the first page has Starter Achievements that take you through some of the basic site functions, and it gives you curency and apparel to start with. Exploring in the campaign (under Play dropdown) is helpful for getting items, leveling up wolves, and you can even get new wolves from it on occassion! You can explore in all the pack territories, not just the one you're in, too.

It does burn stamina though, and it can be tough to keep your wolves at full stamina in the early levels. I run a free food thread, so feel free to comment or message me if you run into stamina troubles! :)

Hey, welcome to Loria! Definitely just focus on beginning your campaign, leveling wolves, and beginning your profession grind. You'll gain XP pretty quickly early on, so it's not that slow to get up and going. I think one month in I had more than enough food to sustain myself and was well-versed enough in the game that I have been set up comfortably ever since.

If you're looking for wolves, some users have some threads where they're giving them away in the forums, and I have this Pride Raffle you can enter if you want a chance at winning one of the two remaining wolves!

Welcome to LW!! Everyone has offered some great tips, but I'll throw in that you are able to change your food settings on your Den page under Nana in the "Actions" menu. It's a little hidden, but SUPER important to know if you don't want to accidentally autofeed certain food to your wolves!

One of the more actually useful tips, insofar as early game activity management, is not to bother cooking anything except raw meat and fish (unless it's to just unlock a recipe in your book or because you find it fun to for some reason) until you are ready to start feeding the farmers sometimes.

Efficiency wise, the math has always been in the favor of raw meat/fish. They have tweaked some of the "complex" recipes so at least most of them don't take more stamina in food points than they give you back anymore (lol), but only the "nutty feast" can match a full cooking pot of just raw fish when your cooking pot is fully unlocked. A full pot of raw meat is 24 x20 for 480 stamina total (1 fish/meat per slot for 24 slots. 20 stamina per cooked fish/meat), a nutty feast is 6x80 for also 480 stamina-- 4 slots per feast, but can be fed out to fewer wolves. Legitimately good for filling the bulk of a stamina bar along with a single cooked fish to top it off. The fruit/veg/meat feasts are... just worse (most of these feasts you can only cook 4 per pot, so wind up worse stamina wise vs just raw meat)and give less returns on cooking time per stamina/slot basis. Feasts take 10 minutes to cook per 1, raw meat/fish take 1 minute per... So in terms of time, the raw meat/fish is also going to get you 80 stamina faster (in 4min) than waiting 6 more minutes for the nut feast to finish cooking.

People have been beggin' for 'em to make the other feasts at least in line with the nutty one since they were added, but. Well. :P

Eventually, farming (mobile game hurry-up-and-wait style that it is) becomes time-efficient in terms of stamina generation because you don't have to check it super often with higher-tier plants. There are 3? 4? complex recipes the farmer helper npcs ask for, and once it makes sense, you can start crafting the dishes they specifically use to babysit your crops for 12 hour stretches. Right now, I think the tree nuts (cashews, walnuts, whatever) are the best bang for your buck, both in terms of amounts per harvest, per hour & because the nutty feast is the only one worth making. Bbbut I honestly don't bother with the farming profession much, so hopefully someone else can give you better info there.
