I keep seeing Totems in Marvin's shop for 15 million pebbles. What are they for?

I believe there is no in-game use for the totems atm. The Marvin's mole market regularly gives out one free random item from what's in stock. I believe the totem is essentially a jackpot item that you can sell for millions of pebbles if you were lucky enough to receive for free!

Supposedly they were going to be used for some Very High Tier hunts at one point, but it seems to be an abandoned concept. "Jackpot" items for people to very rarely get seems to be their fate, which is at least something. :P

@Reave - Oh my gosh, I hadn't heard about that! I always assumed they would be used for the Campaign or a new type of Hunt in the future. Even if just supposed, that's still pretty cool.
