So, I was thinking about how the campaign might end, and I've come up with 3 main ideas for it.
1. The Classic Fairytale Ending
We get to Mistvale, but Korvo manages to escape whatever seal used to imprison him and we have to stop him- by either killing him OR re-sealing him- with the help of our Spiritwolf!
2. FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC, BABY!!!
Same thing as above, but we manage to somehow purify Korvo, returning him back to normal. Apologies are had, tears are shed, etc! And at some point, we actually unlock the ability to swap our pack to Mistvale's (there's an eye apparel for it so that's where I'm getting this from... honestly, why IS there a Mistvale eye apparel? And pack symbol, look at Korvo's seal thing and tell me the center (the green bit) doesn't look like a pack symbol)- whether this is for new players or just some sort of perk for those who complete the campaign is up to interpretation.
(NOTE: If this doesn't happen, I may end up writing a fanfic where it does. you have been warned.)
3. Nobody SAID we couldn't kill a god...
The upgraded version of 2: We banish Chaos from Loria and/or existence. The Consumed are brought back to normal, perhaps, and life goes on, now without the threat of a god wreaking havoc on this world.
Feel free to speculate alongside me... or talk about the Mistvale Eyes/Symbol discrepancy. Here's the offending apparel, by the way:
