Badges
Lorwolves from all over Loria have answered the call and come together to push back the consumed. Gloom's guild, The Wyld Hunt, is impressed with those who helped. Although lorwolves who participate in Bounties are already handsomely rewarded, the Wyld Hunt wants to officially recognize those who participate. Thus, I am happy to introduce Badges!
What are Badges?
Badges are a way of documenting your own participation in the Bounty system as well as other community activities. You can use them to track how often you have participated and to commemorate events you have participated in. Feel free to add them to your bio, signature, or dedicate a wolf to hold all your Badges!
As there is no official way to track one's participation, and the Wyld Hunt is a trusting organization, we use the honor system in displaying badges you have appropriately achieved.
Tracking Badge Progress
There are many ways to track your badge progress. You can tally your participation in a wolf's bio, manually review your participation, and/or use an outside source like Google Spreadsheet.
Fortunately for everyone participating in bounties, Renoisie has been a saint and has been tracking everyone's progress for them. She has been using a really useful Google Spreadsheet, found here, made by Damocles to help keep track of the bounties you have participated in. Editing permissions are open to all, so you can easily go in and track your participation.
What Types of Badges are there?
Currently, there are Badges that track how many times you participated in a particular Bounty: Beast, Treasure, and Monster. There are also Badges that track which regions you have done Bounties in: Goldsea, Darkspine, Murkwood, and Icerun. There are Badges for participating in Pageant Pals and Writing Wolvesday. Finally, there are special badges that are used to commemorate Bounty Patrons, Heroic Hunters, and special events!
