First off, wow. What an amazing time to be enjoying this game about rainbow dogs and the chaos that threatens them all. Much like the discourse I see spreading in our lovely community. I hear you all. I feel how disappointed some of you feel about the silent development. You are valid in that. I feel how passionately others love coming here and experiencing what we have already. Whether you had or have faith in the continuing development of our favorite little doggy game, we are all here excited for the future now. Whether that is reserved excitement or open excitement, you are valid.

It is only natural that we but heads from time to time. These Campaign changes are really bringing out the emotions in people. I know it was unexpected. I think we almost got spoiled in a way with 3 years of perfect consistency. Ha! It wasn't a perfect system, but it was ours. And we'd accepted it was forever going to be that way. If you have suggestions on making this transition easier on yourself, please take to the Suggestions forum. JimJim is one person, but he seems dedicated to making this a great game. Help him help us.

At the end of the day, JimJim will run this how he sees fit. That often will conflict with what some players want, and I will say again you are valid for being upset. But also, I ask you to pause when you find yourself in those emotions. There is a saying where I'm from, "You catch more flies with sugar then salt." I want an active community, but I hope we can be more tonaly aware. Sometimes we bring about the outcome we set out to avoid.

Opinions are like bum cheeks, most people have a couple and there's not much you can do to avoid that, so there's no real point trying to force everyone to have the same ones. :P This site gets a little bad about that, but I never really pay that much attention to that side of things, since it's mostly a small clique; I prefer my feedback and interactions to be highly irreverent and off the cuff, so that's how I will always be!
