The journey to Elius' Watch was done with quick-footed anticipation; while the sun still beamed down on the pack of wolves making their way to the Western Barrens, the whispering breeze lifted everyone's spirits.

However, as the trees and shrubs became further and further apart, and the rocks became more warped and twisted as time went on, there was a great sense of apprehension amongst the group. Where there had been howling melodies and barking chatter, there was silence.

One of the wolve that had been leading the group seemed to take note of the apprehension, and paused for a moment, turning around to gaze upon everyone.

"We are the inheritors of Loria," he declared solemnly, his gaze roving about the crowd. "We are its protectors, with teeth and claws sharpened by the Spiritwolves themselves to beat back the Consumed and permit the sun to rise after the moon and so forth for eternity. We have not failed in our efforts to fight back the darkness and we will not fail this season, either. Remember that, and find your strength!"
