Pinging is not working correctly?

I've been on forums, and when people ping me, sometimes i don't recieve the notification. For example in Mafia, hosted by chinchilla, I've posted there saying that when chinchilla pings me, I don't know, and I don't recieve notifications. Only when chinchilla and renoisie pinged me like 20 times or something did i recieve 7 or 8 notifications. And then in Daug Haus, lalierre pinged me, and I didn't see it in the notifs either.

Is this happening to other people?

Yes, that happens to me sometimes! I didn't get pinged in mafia or the daug haus for a while, but then I subbed and then both the "the was activity" and when I was pinged gave me notifications

There’s also the fact that for every post in a subscribed thread, I get a notif. There were like fifteen different mafia notifs when I checked after getting off a long flight

I just ran into this problem. I tried to ping two players. Did everything correctly - put the @ before the username, etc. The first ping worked and the second one didn't! The second username just refuses to become a ping.

I also didn't get notified in the daug haus. I was notified for the ping 5 days ago, but not the one from 1 day ago, so it looks like a pretty recent bug. Both pings are identical, and I clicked my name to make sure it goes to my page and it does. Also both pings were part of a list of pings, and my name was first in both. I don't know if any of that is helpful, but figured I'd describe everything in detail just in case!
