I Have a Bone to Pick!
Greetings! I am Whisper, a Bone Seer. I am a master of Osteomancy, Scapulimancy, and other esoteric arts, but that is unimportant. The call you sought to heed is this: The other day, when casting my bones for a rather urgent divination, a Duskraven of ill-temper happened to be watching. As I turned back to look at my notes to interpret my reading, the furtive feathered menace swooped down and pilfered a divination bone!
Initially I knew not what happened, but pieced together the crime from recollections of the bird watching me and a single onyx feather lingering amongst my ruined divination.
I know not where the creature has flown to, but for it to be so brazen to steal in front of me, it probably lacks the faculties to cover its tracks. I care not what you do to the miscreant; I just wish to have the bone back so I can continue my work. Being a Bone Seer I have a plethora of bones I am willing to share with those who help recover my plundered possessions.
