How do you organize your dens?

I am doing some rearranging in my main den where I keep most of my wolves, and I was wondering how others tend to organize their wolves! Color-coordinated, breeding pairs, lore, etc.?

I would consider myself a lore den (not that I have any of it written down) and so the arrangement of my dens itself is a reflection on who would be greeting wolves that come by, who would be in the inner sanctum, etc. But then actually within each den, it's a bit of a free for all. (ᵕ—ᴗ—) I'm trying to figure out if I want to do it by color combination or what...

I mostly do mine by lore, but I've also got some...idk what to call them, utility dens? A landing den that always has extra spots open so I don't have to search for new wolves when they're bought/born, a sale/trade den, a display den for my look-pretties, and a leveling den for fodder.

That’s a very good question… Honestly, at first, my main goal was to sort my wolves by color—more specifically, into natural and unnatural colors. Over time, however, I moved away from that idea because it’s really hard to get WW in natural colors, plus I came to appreciate the charm of wolves with unusual color combinations. Currently, I’ve divided the wolves into those who are main characters according to lore and those grouped by theme—for example, in Lotus Wetlands, there are wolves who handle specific tasks like studying the flora and fauna, running the market, writing various manuscripts, etc. And the predominant colors there are purple, pink, and blue.

Hmmm… I base my dens on lore, and where each wolf is in the wider story of things! Oh, with a couple dens for selling wolves.

I do dens based on colors, mostly. I have a den with the cool colors like green/blue/purple and then i have the warm colors like red/orange/yellow and then I have a den dor darker wolves but that's now my storage. And I have a den specifically for 1 family line. And also my blackpink wolves heh

Lore. The wolf's lore/role (my lore is based on a royal House theme, so a lot of the ordering has to do with what House a wolf is in if they're in one) determines where it's placed. It seems random but I swear, I have a system!
