As of right now, there are 60 unlockable Guild Bosses. After you have fought and collected all of those rewards, there is little incentive to fight reactivated bosses, as you cannot obtain additional guild vouchers from them. It appears the only way to earn guild vouchers if you have unlocked and fought all bosses is through the guild wars, which has a cap on the vouchers you can obtain.
I propose that a similar mechanism be added to the guild bosses to continue to motivate people who have completed boss fights to continue to help newer folks who haven't:
- Each boss you fight for the 2nd time onwards gives a set amount of tickets, say 10 guild tickets every time it is vanquished
- You have a cap of say 10 bosses a week you can collect these tickets from
This would encourage people to continue to fight bosses that are reactivated to earn rewards on an ongoing basis.
However, the way reactivation works right now can make the list of bosses very unwieldy, not to mention when a boss is reactivated, the rewards disappear and mean you can't collect them. There are a couple ways I think we could resolve that issue:
- Have rewards permanently collectable, meaning that your rewards stay on your page until you collect them. You can't fight or reactivate the boss again until you've collected your rewards, but they are visible to you.
- Give a cooldown on reactivated bosses. Say after a boss is defeated, it cannot be reactivated for 24 hours to give people time to collect their rewards.
I'm really excited about Guilds and I hope they can keep growing and that we can make the bosses more exciting for those who have finished them!
