Ranch Rampage!

Greetings, fellow Lorfolk. I am afraid that I must ask for assistance. I believe I have met a few of you before, but nonetheless, allow me to introduce myself. I am Druid Rowan. I tend to circle the border of Mistvale ensuring no consumed creature escapes.

Recently, word reached me of a terrible drought afflicting Goldsea. Concerned, I traveled to its border to see the situation for myself. It was there that I encountered a few famished and dehydrated Aurox that had ventured into Mistvale in search of food and water. I was able to aid them and send them back to Goldsea, but was worried about how many other Aurox may have been tempted to travel into Mistvale. So, I decided to follow the Aurox back to their ranch.

When I arrived, I found the ranch in shambles. It seems the several Aurox had ventured into Mistvale! The poor rancher and their farmpaws were hiding in their den while the herd, directed by the newly infected Consumed Aurox, rampaged through the ranch.

If this were just a single Consumed Aurox, I could handle it myself. But for an entire herd, I need help. Please, would you assist me in quelling this Consumed outbreak? I don't think the entire herd is infected, but several Consumed Aurox within the herd are directing the herd's actions. The rancher and I will pay you to make it worth your while.

These are very difficult. You DO NOT know what synergies to target. And there are often other requirements, such as a pebble buy-in, wolf level, time-limit, etc. The reward is often Moonstones.

1. Your goal is to discover the Monster's Synergies by initially submitting wolves and companions with a broad range of synergies.
   
2. Be sure to review the results of other wolves' hunts before yours to know what wolf and companion combo to try.
   
3. After submitting your wolf and companion, prove their hunting prowess by PM'ing me the Bounty's Cost! Once I receive it, I will post the results of your hunt as soon as I can.
   
4. Fear not if your hunt returns empty! You can submit a new hunting party once a day after rollover, at no additional cost! But do be sure to come back and try again, as this bounty is only available for a short time!

• What a nightmare! The Consumed Aurox hiding amongst the herd makes this a tricky bounty. Perhaps a wolf that can get a better view of the herd will help.
  
• Aurox are Protector, Support, Tactician. Consumed creatures lose a part of themselves when they surrender to Chaos. Take advantage of this!
  
• Moving through a herd is quite a dangerous task. Perhaps you should bring a defensive companion that can protect you and is prepared to shrug off some blows.

• Monsters have a "Weakness" which is a set of 6 pre-selected synergies!
  
• To get an idea of what its weakness is, you should listen to Ashe's Warrior Advice.
• The first person to successfully submit a wolf and companion combo that has the 6 pre-selected synergies will be declared the Heroic Hunter!

@MystiTheWolf A nameless wolf, after listening to Rowan's plea, decides to help out! They bring their Moorbear and rush to the ranch. Upon arriving at the ranch, they are greeted with an eerie quiet despite the immense devastation. As they turned the corner of a ruined barn, they encountered a single Aurox lazily eating dried-up grass. Confident that it isn't infected, the two slowly approach the lone Aurox and attempt to guide it into a clearing. Suddenly, a distorted, bellowing moo echoes in the distance. The Aurox they were guiding panics, kicks the nameless wolf away, and runs off. As the wolf staggers to their feet, they notice the ground beginning to rumble. Rounding the corner comes the herd. Afraid of being crushed under their hooves, the nameless wolf sprints away while their Moorbear holds its ground and endures the herd's passage.

@Renoisie Gust swiftly flies over the ruined ranch, their Sawtooth Snapper clutched tightly in their paws. From above, they spot a nameless wolf sprinting away from quite the herd of Aurox. Gust swoops down, finding a safe place to leave their Snapper before soaring high into the air. The herd, noticing a new adversary in the ranch, wheels around and charges straight toward the Snapper. Quickly noticing its fearsome expression and bladed shell, the herd parts right down the middle, rushing around the vicious Snapper. High in the sky, Gust glides through the air, searching from above for any signs of Consumption. Catching the faintest glint of green, she looses an arrow. It flies true, striking the flank of one of the Consumed Aurox. The herd panics, twisting and turning as they stampede, scattering the Consumed Aurox among the others. However, Gust quickly spies the sneaky creature, its location betrayed by the arrow still embedded in its flank.

@Vanda Word quickly spread of the devastation at the ranch. When Valerius heard the news, he rushed out to help, carrying his Magic Monstropod companion on his back. Upon reaching the ranch, he spotted a Volmyr loosing arrows from high in the sky into an enraged herd of Aurox. Valerius met up with a nameless wolf, and the two discussed how best to handle the situation. Working together, they began circling the herd, searching for any uninfected stragglers they could guide away from the angry herd. As they circled, a presumably Consumed Aurox suddenly charged at Valerius. Caught unaware, Valerius braced himself for the impact. His Monstropod companion, noticing the incoming attack, crawled toward the threat and fortified itself. The Aurox's horns battered Valerius, but he remained unharmed thanks to his armor and his companion's intervention.
