Probability of encountering a Kapros?

What's the likelihood of encountering a Kapros in Southmarsh?
I know I'm doing everything right; I definitely have a fluorescent amulet and I double and triple checked I'm in the right area but I've been through 30+ stamina bars and at least seven different ww or rockbreaker ox encounters that would normally be super rare and still there is no sign of a kapros
Is there a number of wolves I'm supposed to have in the party?
Right now it's just the one woof and a companion. Do I needa remove the companion or add more woofs to the party or just get better luck or what

just luck. I remember took me few days to find it and you have to beat it if you loose you will have to go search for it all over again so make sure you have a team that can take it down first time you see it
