Change Expansion Moonstone prices

25-50-100 MS per profession,

The moonstone price for expansions feels way too high for what the upgrades actually are, and doubling in price each time feels excessive. The upgrades are just more queue slots, and not that many, I don't think their prices should be able to increase to $10 worth of Moonstones just so you can queue up 4 more pieces of meat- and then you need to do the same for the cart. There should either be a pebble equivalent or this price should be lowered quite drastically, I can't find a reason to justify it being so pricey.

If I recall correctly, some of these USED to be pebbles in early access? I can't remember for sure but if I am right, that REALLY is bad and is not worth getting moonstone shards from cooking and fishing

I believe they were available for pebbles in EA, it's a bit disappointing to have this system quietly monetized to what feels like an excessive degree, I don't think this is the right area of the game to monetize, all the cooking, mining stuff etc will be devalued as soon as more people play the site, 4 extra items isn't worth $10, and if it were worth it I dislike that pay to win aspect as it's only premium currency :(

Perhaps it would be okay if we got pebble upgrades first, and MS slots later, but the whole thing being premium only is not right, especially when premium currency is pretty hard to get if you're Free to Play (and don't have the benefit of being here at launch to grab valuable wolves to trade)

Yeah, it really feels like a lot, especially in Mining because with how fast you get items just with bronze tools I can't imagine what it'll be like in later tiers with better tools and presumably more ores?? 15 already feels limited and having to pay moonstones to expand that feels really excessive.

Agreed. Locking actual play content behind premium currency is… not great. Premium stuff should be mostly cosmetic or the game will end up being pay-to-win, and that's not really fun for anyone who can't spend money on a petsite for whatever reason. Premium content in petsites should mainly be cool aesthetic things - breed changes, markings, forum banners, cool apparel, etc.

Not to mention these functioned pretty nicely as Pebble sinks in Early Access! There's not really all that much else to spend big quantities of Pebbles on. That's going to have an impact on the Lorwolf economy, and not a healthy one.

Yeah, in EA the first one(s) cost Pebbles, and I think that's a much better way to do things. The problem with charging premium currency for things is that it can be difficult to change once people have already spent real money, so it's a good idea to deal with stuff like this as soon as possible.

I was so SO disappointed when I saw that suddenly these things took moonstones instead of pebbles. Why the change? Please let us expand things with pebbles again. This just feels like a blatant money grab in my opinion.

Supporting this. Locking expansions of gameplay- not cosmetic/vanity options- behind a paywall feels like a punishment. Even with the shards that we can accumulate, it would take weeks to get enough for the FIRST expansion- not even touching how that price doubles each time.

Basically charging 3-5 USD for basic gameplay is Pay To Play, and it's disappointing. I know y'all have to make money, but this feels like punishment to the casual player.

Re-adding the option to pay with pebbles OR with moonstones would be a good compromise- let people grind pebbles to expand mining/cooking/etc, or they can pay with moonstones if they so choose.

I've already paid the 25x moonstones twice, forgetting that they were actually in pebbles previously. Nonetheless, I also do agree about changing it back to pebbles or having an either or option to at least keep the spirit of “if you dont want to work for it, you can fast track with premium currency!” (though it makes it feel more like a mobile game in that regard).

Yeah this is very bad and makes me not want to play now which is very disappointing as to is game is very engaging to me. I thought the 200k pebbles was kind of expensive in beta and now it’s 25 moonstones! You don’t get a lot of MS from buying them originally and everything on the site worth buying costs lots of moon stones. So why make this a MS cost when people are already critiquing the pricing of other moonstone items?

I agree. And not everyone has a lot of time every single day to farm some shards. Sometimes I just want to enjoy the game for a little bit one day and not be massively behind or having to spend real money
