Lucania lore thread

Disclaimer: Images with no reference means that they of Official Lorwolf art (mainly trinkets and wolves). The rest with a signature in it are mostly mine unless specified artist. The rest are going to be AI generated art for now. I do plan on erasing them to substitute with my own art, but, due to time restriction and my horrible skills in environment drawing, for now they are temporarily staying. I'd rather stay out of all the AI drama, this is my only use and because of the reasons stated earlier; I don't condone art theft in any ways as such this is just to fill empty space besides showing a vague idea of the geography. Again, this is not a lucrative use which I would never do, just a temporary thing. Thank you for your respect and understanding.

Disclaimer 2: Lucania's lore is not necessarily completely canon. Geography of Loria might be the base of the Lucania Region but actual lore of Lucania might not always look 100% at the official Loria lore. History and Geography

Lucania is a vast region of land belonging to the continent of Loria; it's very diverse in flora with mainly three biomes.

Aurea territory

The territory of the Aurea pack is the most West territory of the Lucania region. This part of the Mainland is very rocky, and with some plateau. The center of the territory, where the pack lives, is in a plain, similar to a crater for it's on top of the highest mountain but the place itself surrounded by smaller mountains.

The big plains on top of the rocky mountains provide home to the Aurea pack, in a sunlit plateau surrounded by smaller mountains. The grass is mostly green around water spots, but it's mainly of a golden color due to the constant sunlight and thus evaporation.
Most members of the Aurea pack are naturally brown of various shades, but many are also white or tan colored. Although there are many fur variations, they all have in common a certain golden hue, hence the name of the pack “Aurea” translating to “gold” in ancient Lucania language.
This plain, like a volcano crater, rarely has rain on bad weather. The only big storms are during the summer where, due to the high temperature and the constant exposure to the sun, lots of water get evaporated quickly. Since this crater is surrounded by smaller mountains, the clouds stay trapped resulting in sudden summer storms.

Some fresh small streams coming from the nearby Icy Peaks at the edge of the Aurea pack's territory provide the area with many small lakes, celebrated by the wolves for it provides them fresh water and fishing spots. Many of these lakes around the center of the pack are decorated with small lanterns: they believe that by offering light to nature, similarly to stars in a night sky, provide them protection from the dangers lurking in the shadows.
These lanterns attract many insects, but mostly fireflies that mistake the lanterns for potential mates. It's not rare to see, at nighttime, many fireflies all around this territory.
It is strange how trees and normal vegetation is able to survive in here. Outside of this crater, trees are conifers with any rare vegetations for oxygen is scarce; but in these plains it is enough for plants to grow normally. There is no dense green forests, but it is still a paradise on earth of a miracle.

Towards the North and West sides of the Region, the Icy peaks and a more mountain look can be seen. The South and East side usually get more sunlight for longer periods of time, so the mountains don't have any snow.

Aurelian lore says that the Sun Goddess's first apparition was in the middle of a big lake connected to the main River, bringing light to the region. It is said that sometimes the goddess come visit that lake during the first rays of sunlight of the day. Which is why the main priest always come before dawn to make offerings to the goddess in hope to stay in her good will.

Apparently they have noticed some rogue wolves coming from the Icy Peaks, it's to wonder if a new pack is slowly forming in the cold and harsh enviroments? Banned wolves are exiled there, so it wouldn't be a surprise.

Raine Territory

At the complete other side, far east, there are the territories of the Raine pack. Raine pack is actually divided by two sisters whom received the reigning power by their father. As such, what we call “Raine” pack is actually the union of two different core, but not bothering giving it official different names. They do call each other “Songbirds” and “Flowerblooms”.
