It would be lovely QoL to be able to set our mining tools as autoconsume. Have 5 mithril pickaxes? Set them to auto-consume so when one breaks, a new one is automatically equipped, until they run out. There could also be a priority system or a queue for it, so you can choose to use your mithril pickaxes first, then your silver, or vice versa.
Ideally this can just be a button underneath the Use button that's like, autoconsume off/on.

I would definitely support a toggleable version of this. Having a priority system is very preferred as well as I'd like to go through my stack of low tier tools before consuming the higher ones.
Ugh yes I want this. It's annoying when the pickaxe breaks in the middle of mining and I don't realize until I check on it.
