When is the next species? (If there are any)

Hello, I wanted to keep the title nice and simple. The question wasn't meant as a demand, more as a genuine question.

I am new to Lorwolf and I just wish to know if there are any news regarding new species. I don't mind waiting, I know the team is pretty small and I don't wish to demand either. The only reason this thread was even created is because I am unsure if there are any current plans for future wolves, if not, that's fair and I don't mind. I am currently thinking of making my female lead wolf a Volmyr, but I don't mind waiting if there are any future plans for a new species that I like.

We don't know, unfortunately. LW's development has been rather ~fraught~, plagued with long silences and minimal communication. We get weekly rotating posts to simulate activity, but some of them are still signed off with halloween messaging from last october that hasn't been edited.

Last known updates were to say that no more communication will be forthcoming, but that the site is supposedly still being worked on in the background. We do know (from that last dev contact) that the site is not solvent, meaning that it does not support its own development. There was a time where it certainly could have! But because of consequences of the site's management, now, well-- we just guess, nobody is around to contradict anyone's theories (if they have any).

I have to imagine there are plans for more patterns and species, if only because we have barely touched on any real-world animal patterns here, let alone mystical ones. When and whether the site survives long enough to see them, well. Only A & JJ know, and they are not talking. >:P

It is rather unfortunate that there is such silence regarding development, however to some degree I can understand with the team being so small.

I suppose will just have to see where the site leads us.
