a year later

Just checking in after not checking in for a whole year...what'd I miss?

At first glance, it looks like nothing has really...expanded from the last dev update I saw, which is a bit disappointing, but I'm at least glad that the game is still up and running with a little community (i accidentally left my premium on). I'm hoping chapter 2 of the campaign will be releasing soon.

I will be running off to go do some of my Goldsea Seasonal stuff!

I don't think anythjng really has changed (or been added) aside from Quiche stepping down as Community Manager. We have the Seasonals still though.

Yeah! We got a few new items, like the Popcorn food and all the Seasonal goodies! New companions and apparel each time. Plus the new decks for Seasonal Arena and the like. It's quiet, but the forums have been getting a little more active. ^^

The apparel for this seasonal is EXCELLENT. Accessories galore -- I feel super spoiled by the artist(s). And the apparel layers so nicely with a lot of the old options, too.

It was quiet on the CA front for a hot minute (I don't think there were a lot of folks making any tbh -- not that they weren't being approved), but I've noticed that we've gotten a few more CAs pushed up in the past 4-6 weeks. And I'm aware of a few artists that have CAs waiting for approval rn.

Basically, it's slow but steady lol.

Yeah, quarterly holidays and head mod quit with no replacement and no sign that they are looking for one. We got a memo (after a member contacted the devs via kickstarter, which I don't recommend repeating) to just not expect any communications whatsoever, and what we get, we get.

We do know from this that the game isn't solvent, aka isn't able to support itself. This is a pity, but not surprising given, well. How the business has been / is being run.
