ABOUT THE CRITIC:

She's HOT. 🔥 Pepper is a junior den critic that has recently burst onto the scene. Well-known for her love of maximalist color pairings and eye for layering, she's sure to appreciate the design of almost any den. She enjoys the little touches. Wolf bios are her specialty: Pepper loves to cozy into some good lore.

ABOUT THE CRITIC:

Snout is a Junior Den Critic just making her debut! She takes a keen interest in the organization and details of a den, paying particular attention to unique naming conventions, family histories, companion pairings, den statistics, and the like. Fashion-wise, she's always drawn to a well-placed accessory. She's yet to view a den that doesn't bring something new and valuable to the table!

Welcome to the grand opening of Snout & Pepper, LWC: Critics at Claw! In honor of our new business, @Brunette has graciously allowed us to review her den and show off what we can do for you!

Den Review: Brunette #7869

To start us off... The lovely Trinity! Trinity is the lead wolf. And dang, he's an eyeburner after my own heart. His CA choices compliment his unique color palette. I love how the Carrot accent works with the orange of the background and mask, despite being so different. The outline gives just enough space to let the colors blend together.

Next, the first wolf to catch my eye when we entered the den: AM! Her soft, dreamy colors come together so beautifully with the Cozen Oak layered on Top... to find both a companion and perfect apparel to match that dreamy energy is a stunning combination. The perfect wolf for nights so late they turn to morning. ✨

The 𝕤𝕠𝕗𝕥 ❀ den is a great place to see Brunette's style in action. Ume especially shows off an adorably hilarious CA pairing: this little frog saddled upon this Zerda! I wonder what his rider's name is... Furthermore, I appreciate the commitment to the Universe accent -- it could be Plain, but Ume's better than that! He makes that hint of accent shine.

Onto this natural beauty: Verla. She has beautifully contrasting warm and cool tones, made even more magical by the layered CAs. The dream world background pairs perfectly with the Ginger accent. I wish she would show up in my dreams.

Aelin here caught my eye with the information in her bio. A sister in another part of Loria!? How sweet! Not to mention... we seem to have the same stylist. ❤ The display is a flawless addition to the collection of CA she's showing off! I love her light colored eyes.

Den Review: Lunar Howlers #12241

We begin with Doom, previously known as Torrential Doom. He is a stunning black Sable -- a wolf breed of Lunar's own design. His lore is touching and deeply woven with the other wolves in the pack. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed following the tale of your den from one bio to the next. Finally, I like his outfit and the layering of the earrings.

The Shade of Thoughts calls my attention, though no words come to mind to describe the sensation of the aura you feel when you step into the same room as them. There's definitely an otherworldly air to them that piques my curiosity... and perhaps my fears.

Amethyst... the one that started it all. Clicking into the lovely Lunar Fall of Protection and opening Tumbled Amethyst's page was an experience. Not only does she have sweetly written lore about the founding of the Lunar Howlers, but she is just spiffy! I like her simple CA, the background, and her children's themed names. I can tell she is a beloved member of your pack.

Sunrise is objectively my favorite little lesbian as well, and now that I know it's canon I'll never stop shipping her with Songbird! I do hope she'll share with us as her love story unfolds. ❤

Wow. Chalk and rust sing a lovely tune together on Volcanerah here! The Jolly belt warms her up wonderfully and I would love to see more pops of gold! Her name and ties to Doom and Peach also intrigue me -- I feel like lore is hiding somewhere for her! Volcanerah is a beautiful wolf.

Oh, I got kind of lost reading Amethyst's lore. I meant to skim it over a bit, but I started reading and got absorbed in the story. You have a very nice writing style that I think many people could love. :) You're time skips don't feel forced and you wrap up each section nicely. I want to return to your den and read more lore one of these days! :)
