Inspired by Flight Rising's Lore Whining Days, sometimes it takes a little extra push to get some words down on paper. The purpose of Writing Wolvesday is to help encourage us all to try and get just a few more keystrokes in on whatever it is we are supposed to be working on, whether that be a wolf's profile, a roleplay we are a part of, or a story. We will be gathering every first and third Wednesday of the month to lament the difficulties of sitting down and actually stringing words together and / or seizing the sudden inspiration that strikes us fancy.

Everyone is free to participate in Writing Wolvesday! Even if you don't want to post your writing, come chat with us about the woes of the written word.

Hi all! Starting this back up again post-holidays (including the Seasonal)! How has everyone been? Has anyone gotten any writing in these past couple of months that they would like to share?

Oh hello again! Actually, just today I wrote some OC lore- not Lorwolf, but an outside character! I wrote it in my creative writing club, the prompt was “what if your character was in the apocalypse that one small action of theirs caused” so it’s a bit dark..

I was wondering where these went! Ended up coming up with some lore for two of my wolves...

Pleiade and Capella, my only two campaign WWs (who were also got accidentally, during Seasonals... both of them!), are now part of a very, very old group called the Warriors of the Dawn. They're (They were?) a five-wolf band dedicated to clearing out the Consumed; one wolf from each pack, and one mystery-wolf on top of that. Out-of-lore, they're also all wild wolves, and the wolves from each pack I had to get while doing their respective Seasonal.

The mystery-wolf, though... planning on using the wolf I get from this upcoming modeling contest thing for them.

I've been VERY slowly working on my wolves bios, some are done and some not so... But I HAVE managed to get little bios together for some of my forever-homed dragons on FR, which has been satisfying! I have been meaning to remake my clan lore carrd over there since I somehow lost access to the original carrd. So perhaps I will do it - maybe also make a LW pack lore carrd too :D
