Half The Cost Of CATs

Hey, so, my suggestion is basically make CATs cost 50MS instead of 100. Or give us twice as much per token. Custom Apparel is becoming quite popular with artists and we are making a bunch of them right now. However, the MS cost is prohibitive in more players being able to buy pieces as artists want to recoup their investment as well as make some MS to buy the customs of others. If we could charge less per piece, then they would be more affordable for everyone to buy and we could dress more wolves.

Also, with the community being as small as it is, there are less people around to buy the Custom Apparel in general which makes sales kind of hard as it is.

Ye, this. MS in general are hard to rack up with all those lovely, lovely apparel and CAs that cost MS. It's why when I started drawing my CA poses I immediately bought a CAT the moment I got 100MS, so I wouldn't get sidetracked. Yes, preorders exist, but those only work if people see them ahead of time.

support! Plus, if the cost to make it is halved, it means prices may go down, prompting more people to buy, which will make restocks and new ca's come out more frequently, and therefore making the CA market flourish!

Definitely support this! It’s hard to afford tokens and other things at the same time! I would definitely come down on my prices if the tokens didn’t cost so much.

Half price CATs -or- doubled prints would be excellent... With the chance to earn 2.5 MS a day, cutting costs in half would mean (so long as artists were pricing affordably) users could earn a new CA every 2 weeks or so from normal gameplay. ^^ And more CAs available in the shop would help everyone nab a copy if they so wish!

I would love either option, with a slight preference on half price CATs! I do find it a real struggle to muster up 100ms for one, whereas 50 sounds so much more achievable! It would definitely encourage me to lower my own pricing to match the cheaper cost ^_^

And if that made CA cheaper in general it would be great as I would get to see more dressed up dogs from everyone (and myself!) :D

Support - I am yet to make CA but when I do, I want to price it low enough for even new or very casual users to afford. The CA system is one of the major drawcards of LW at the moment, honestly, and being able to afford to price creations low enough for more people to have access to them would really foster a sense of community.

the flightrising route of larger items costing more and little details being cheaper would also help a ton while preserving the value of high effort CA. not necessarily their skin vs accent system but just some new method here to determine item size with percent of canvas used so small ones can be half price to make!

I bet part of why its so expensive is to reduce moderation effort, but its much easier to check an accessory or plushie over a whole outfit or markings so it wouldn't be that much of a hit to effort cost

though my suggestion would be really hard to implement if it meant recategorizing all the existing CA lol
