Best ways to get pebbles and moonstones?

I've only been playing the game 2 days. I'm already running low on den space so I'm trying to figure out the best way to get pebbles and moonstones. I've done a few achievements which has helped but I don't know if there is a better way when first starting out. Thank you so much! 💖😊💖

Having a bunch of pebble-generating companions help! Especially the brother deer (and- I think- the seasonal companions that give pebbles). You can check whether a companion gives pebbles by hovering over their icon in the shop and looking at the bottom, there’s a list of items they give in a section labeled ‘Possible Rewards’.

Monstropods also give pebbles, just not as often or as much as the brother deers.

Seconding companions for pebbles! Moonstones are a bit harder, but you can get moonstone shards randomly in all the professions except crafting. 10 shards (plus some bonepaste) makes 1 moonstone in crafting! Other than that, I think the achievements are the way I've made most of my moonstones.

I know it's a bit of a grind, but I really recommend focusing on mining. As you level up and reach deeper areas, you can earn more expensive ores and gems to sell or craft with. I have taken to just camping in The Deep Deep (the final mining area) to get rubies, moon stone shards, and the rarer metal ores. By just focusing on gold, rubies, and moonstones, I can easily get a TON of moonstone shards, but it takes a bit of patience and babysitting your minecart. I honestly get way more gems and moonstone shards than I do gold, also, so just by zoning out and focusing on gold I find that I've passively earned a ton of shards to craft moonstones with.
