I signed up yesterday and I'm really enjoying the game so far! Especially the story!
At some point I'd like to have lore for the wolves and have proper themes, but for now I'm just collecting ones I think look cute. Been doing story campaign too, but I find I'm struggling for food a lot... So any tips on reliably getting food would be very helpful!

Hi and welcome to Lorwolf, I hope you enjoy your stay here! I am also trying to write lore for my wolves (don't look at how long it has been since I've actually written anything, it's much easier to come up with stuff in my head than writing it down...). I've managed to put together a cohesive theme of what wolves I like- mostly black and black adjacent coloring, clearly.
There are a couple of threads in the User Events and Giveaways forums that you may find helpful as a newbie, including the Penny Pack Food Bank. Other than that, the easiest ways to get food I've found is Farming- you can plant a bunch of Pumpkins and Ghost Pumpkins and while they don't give that much food, they don't rely on a wolf using up their own energy and you can get a pretty good stack going. There is a Gardeners Guild thread here that can help with the farm snacks that Tiny and Bigs are asking for so you don't have to babysit your crops!
Other than that, keep leveling up your wolves to go into the campaign / do hunting quests which will also give you food, though those require a good amount of stamina for your wolves so it is a delicate balance to begin with. I'd recommend again checking out the Giveaway forums for level 10 wolves that you can leverage for the time being. Hope you enjoy your stay here in Lorwolf!

Hello and welcome!! Giving lore to the wolves is a lot of fun, I need to go through and start making backstories for all of mine.

@FloatinInSpace @Ello Thank you for all the tips! I kid you not I have 12 tabs of this game open trying to read up on all the info. And Ooh yeah no I def have to write lore for my wolves at some point! Im seeing a lot of creative stories on the forum already! I suck at writing tho so this will be good practice hahaha
