Yeah. I'm going to create my own cipher for my wolves, that has some hallmarks of a language- it uses English words, but has different letters and sentence structure (kinda).

Actually, wait, scratch that: I'm doing MULTIPLE! Spiritspeak, Celestial, and the Guiding Star Pack's unnamed language, which is derived from both of the former languages in some ways. I won't say much about all three, though, since I am planning to use these ciphers in a forum thing... other then that the GSP's language works around constellation drawings (with the lines and points), with each point/star being a series of runes that corresponds to a word, with each rune corresponding to a letter.

Well... do you have any ideas for things, by any chance? I'm hitting a wall with how the runes will actually work and look.

Oo, I did something similar when I was a kid, and I still use the language all these years later :) It's a lot of fun, my advice is to start by looking at real world languages (and popular fictional ones) to get a vibe for what you like/what works for other people and what you don't like. Also try not to overcomplicate it, because some things look really cool but are a huge pain to write/draw over and over (using my runes as an example, my rune for M is too complicated and I will go out of my way to avoid words that have an m lol).
