I’ve been playing for 2 days and I’m having an absolute blast!! The campaign is really good fun and the story so far looks interesting, I’ve also been enjoying the gauntlet and the arena but I don’t fully understand how synergies work yet. Is it best to pair wolves to companions with matching synergies or different ones? And do synergies do cross category buffing/are their ideal synergies to run together? In the arena I’ve been liking the Assailant (especially with pack mentality) + Rogue but Tactician + Dueler seem like they would be good to mix in too.

I’ve also been trying to complete as many achievements as I can and am nearly done with Starter Rank! (If there’s anyone who’d be okay with me sending them a Friend request lmk!) other than that I’m mostly focusing on the Arena and Campaign achievement blocks because the grind calls to me and my brain insists I should have all my wolves and companions at max level. Is the companion max level 10 as well? Also are there other ways to get companions than the shops? I’ve seen a couple of cute ones in the arena and gauntlet that haven’t appeared in any yet.

I’m a touch in over my depth when it comes to breeding + pairs though. I tried to set up my progens as natural-ish but wound up with some cute blue baby possibilities as well. Oh and I was reading through apparel trying to figure out how to dress my wolves, when do the pack festivals happen each year? What do you need to get to find seem-retired items?

So matching companion synergies with wolf synergies is really mainly for the hunting profession for the highest percent chance of succeeding. Each buff stacks, and the best combo really depends on what you want. Aforementioned analysis hasn’t started in the synergy section yet but it’s planned. Yes, the current max level is ten. No, you can only get companions from any of the shops, but some are limited during the seasonals. You do get one from completing each pack quest tho. Icerun is Jan. Murkwood is April. Goldie’s is July. Darkspine is October. Breeding works by taking all the colors in between the respective colors of each section for possible colors.
