a bunch of stuff went down from what I remember, but there's a new user-run one around somewhere, I've seen the link in a few signatures! Should actually join up myself, probably, haha.

They announced why they closed it, and I think those reasons are solid. And it was honestly quite frustrating that discord became the main channel for communication when over half of the community was not on it. Plus, given how slow progress and development is on this site already, I don't think it is wise or desirable to spread their scarce resources even thinner over something that doesn't even add to the game and is available through other means (the many user-run discords).

TLDR; no support at all.

No support, people have already migrated to the unofficial one, so if you want a discord server just join that one.
