Foraging For Forgoing Forging Foragers!
What a mess... And right when I'm getting all these work orders from the guilds... Oh, sorry! Please, come in. Pay no mind to the mess. You're here for the bounty, right?
My name is Ryj Forgemane. I'm the local blacksmith here in the Hidden Oasis. I've been overwhelmed with work ever since Lorwolves all across Loria started forming guilds and battling over territory. So, I decided to hire some Forager Broch.
When I interviewed them, they seemed impressive, boasting years of forging experience. Trusting their experience, I hired them on the spot and told them to get to work while I went out to gather supplies. When I returned later that day, I found them not working the forge, but cooking my books! That's when I realized where the misunderstanding had come from. They didn't mean forging with iron and fire—they meant forging as in fraud!
Embarrassed by the confusion and still in need of help, I told them to stick to what they knew best: foraging. They could gather raw materials while I focused on the crafting. It shouldn't have been too tough of an ask, considering they're Forager Broch!
However, that was a few moons ago, and they haven't returned. Maybe they quit. Perhaps I'm worrying for no reason. Still, I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'd appreciate it if someone could head out and check on them. I have plenty of bones I'm willing to share with anyone who goes looking for my missing workers.
