Shelling Out for Help!

Fear not, lorfolk of the Hidden Oasis! Help will be arriving swiftly!

Ah, yes—more champions have arrived just in time. My name is Prince Dior, descendant of the Aurelia Pack. I wish we could have met under better circumstances, but unfortunately, our time is short.

Do you feel that slight quake? The ground is trembling due to a gargantuan Consumed Arturas lumbering this way! It crawled out of the river separating Goldsea and Murkwood territory four moons ago. We tried redirecting it back toward Mistvale, but it seems relentless in its march toward the Hidden Oasis. Not only would it destroy the settlement, but ecologists also fear that the Oasis's delicate ecosystem will crumble if a Consumed monster of this size takes up residence there.

Unfortunately, that means we must defeat the creature. And for a beast of this size, it will take hundreds of lorwolves. Fortunately, as a member of the royal family, I have had the funds to pay lorwolves from all across Goldsea to battle the creature. We have been battling the monster for two moons now. It has been severely weakened, leaving it up to us to finish the job.

Just as I have paid the others, I will handsomely reward every able paw willing to fight!

These are very difficult. You DO NOT know what synergies to target. And there are often other requirements, such as a pebble buy-in, wolf level, time-limit, etc. The reward is often Moonstones.

1. Your goal is to discover the Monster's Synergies by initially submitting wolves and companions with a broad range of synergies.
   
2. Be sure to review the results of other wolves' hunts before yours to know what wolf and companion combo to try.
   
3. After submitting your wolf and companion, prove their hunting prowess by PM'ing me the Bounty's Cost! Once I receive it, I will post the results of your hunt as soon as I can.
   
4. Fear not if your hunt returns empty! You can submit a new hunting party once a day after rollover, at no additional cost! But do be sure to come back and try again, as this bounty is only available for a short time!

• Battling a gargantuan creature is incredibly risky. Perhaps an agile lorwolf that can escape dangerous situations would excel here.
  
• Arturas are Healer, Protector, Tactician. Consumed creatures lose a part of themselves when they surrender to Chaos. Take advantage of this!
  
• This Consumed Arturas is massive. Perhaps you should bring a nimble companion can dodge its destructive attacks.

• Monsters have a "Weakness" which is a set of 6 pre-selected synergies!
  
• To get an idea of what its weakness is, you should listen to Ashe's Warrior Advice.
• The first person to successfully submit a wolf and companion combo that has the 6 pre-selected synergies will be declared the Heroic Hunter!

Foxfire and his Relentless Vortexcanis arrive to lend aid!

when news reaches out that wolves are in danger, frostbite sends iris, a quick-footed zerda, with her trusty companion, a rattlespine nytha.

.MystiTheWolf After hearing Prince Dior's explanation, Foxfire and his relentless Vortexcanis rushed out to defend the Hidden Oasis from the gargantuan Consumed Arturas. The ground shook more and more as they approached the lumbering monster. Trailing behind the massive beast, several packs of exhausted lorwolves followed, refusing to give up the fight despite their exhaustion and wounds.

Foxfire stood in the creature's path, between it and the Hidden Oasis, assessing his options. The lumbering monster paid him no heed and continued marching forward. Unsure how to take down such a massive creature, Foxfire pondered until the monster was right above him. The monster's huge, boulder-sized leg rose high into the air before crashing down where he stood as it continued its relentless march.

Dodging at the last second, Foxfire leapt aside and delivered a fierce blow to the monster's leg. His Vortexcanis surged forward and tried to wrap itself around the monster's leg, but it was simply too large.

.chinchilla Frostbite heard the news of a massive Consumed monster lumbering through Goldsea and immediately set out to help. She brought her trusty Rattlespine Nytha to aid her in the battle. Sprinting across the desert, she rushed to the defense of the lorfolk of the Hidden Oasis.

Rising above the horizon like a mountain, the monstrous creature came into view. As Frostbite drew closer and closer, her resolve wavered at the sheer impossibility of the task before her. By the time she reached one of its legs, she shuddered, realizing she was no larger than one of its nails. Refusing to back down without a fight, Frostbite pounced at the monster's leg while her Nytha sank its poisonous fangs into the monstrosity.

.Vanda After listening to Prince Dior's words, Vesper and her Sleek Vortexcanis charged onto the battlefield. Vesper's confidence slowly dwindled as she approached the massive creature. She nearly fell as the ground quaked beneath the Consumed monstrosity's thunderous footfalls. Regaining her balance, she analyzed her foe. She took note of the wounds littering the massive creature's legs. Perhaps, she reasoned, if they could bring down one of its legs, they might be able to reach a more vulnerable target, such as its head.

Losing her balance once more from the monster's thunderous steps, Vesper quickly surveyed the creature and determined its front left leg to be the weakest. She sprinted forward and unleashed a whirling slash with her spear, carving into the wounded limb. Her Vortexcanis lunged after her, raking the weakened leg with several swift scratches.
