Make wolf release payouts meaningful.

Add the option to get moonstone shards from releasing wolves past the 25 shards per day limit, with at least a chance per wolf. While I'm at it, drop the one fest voucher per wolf per day limit and vastly increase the pebble payouts. This would help with some of this game's biggest problems and there's precedent for it with Flight Rising's exaltation payouts including meaningful amounts of treasure, fest currency where applicable, and a chance of gems.

  • Right now, there's no incentive to breed your wolves. The market is solely interested in G1s and the release payouts are pathetic. (5,000 pebbles for max level? No thanks). This would incentivize the breeding sim aspect of the game by producing a meaningful market for fodder wolves and provide a path to currency for folks who don't have time to grind for wild wolves.
  • Having a way to get meaningful payouts from getting rid of ugly, unwanted wild wolves would keep the market alive even once we get past ID hype and keep folks' lairs, sales threads, and the Flea Market from getting clogged with unmatchy G1s that nobody wants.
  • Moonstones are also the focus of everything and are nigh unobtainable in any reasonable quantity via normal gameplay. (Check out my other suggestions thread in regards to making Moonstones not essential for gameplay features)

I'm not going to disagree with making wolf releasing a bit better. I am going to disagree with there's not a meaning to breeding. I've been selling plenty of puppies, since bred wolves actually look better without be sprinkling..

I agree that releasing rewards should offer some neat incentives. Some where already discussed here: Forum - Releasing Wolves Incentives- Knucklebones? (lorwolf.com)

Basically, there should be some proper scaling in pebble payout based on the effort it takes to level it up (going from lv1 to 2 is way easier then from 9 to 10) so a flat increase of 500p per level feels unbalanced.

Second, exalting should have a chance of moonstones shards, knucklebone tokens and event tickets. No cap of 1 per day. No cap at all! And perhaps the higher the level, the higher the chance to get those bonus drops, and maybe also more than one.

I didn't think of knucklebones, but that's a great idea, too, and yeah, exactly. Removing the cap makes there be more of an incentive to level up wolves, breed wolves, and generally establishes an exalting economy, which is part of what makes FR's breeding mechanics work so well since you have a way to get good money from dragons nobody wants.

Yeah, full support to this! I'm afraid if release payouts don't improve, the wolf market will crash completely once there's a higher population and it's easier to get pretty wolves.

Yes please! I know Exalting is sometimes controversial on FR, but at the end of the day, what are we supposed to do with wolves that nobody wants? How about 7 digit WWs that are going to be a dime a dozen? And that clogs up servers too having to store 10 million individual wolves.

I'm heavily into leveling fodder and exalting on FR to help with profit and banks (I'm in Light, y'all know how we are with our finances LOL)

Was really hoping to do something similar here with doing the grind to level up all the "ugly" wolves then release them for steady pebble profit, but man seeing what I would get completely discouraged me. Been keeping these wolves on the FM for 1MS each, if after 2 whole weeks nobody wants them I give up and take my measly 500 pebbles for a level 1 because by that point I just don't feel like spending the time leveling for a low payout.

Having a release reward system that actually feels like you're earning something would really open up that avenue for players. Is leveling up wolves time and resource consuming? Absolutely! Make the return on releasing wolves worth it!

As someone who has already released quite a few wolves, huge support. I tried training the first few, but quickly realized it wasn't worth the measly extra pebbles. I enjoy breeding, but sales are stagnant, so I just release them.. it's all feeling fairly pointless.

Not sure that moonstones should be rewards, maybe a mixture like FR where sometimes you get a few? I think it would be more meaningful if releasing wolves gave you some kind of currency that you could spend on stuff.

Den tabs, maybe more spaces once you've maxed out the pebbles?

Den tabs are just so expensive for F2P players...
