I think AI art sale shouldn't be allowed but I think people should be allowed to use it as a tool as long as they disclose it's AI and what generator they used. I think it's fine to use AI generated images to visualize things, and it can be a useful tool for a lot of things.

I change my mind I'd like ai to be banned, I never supported it I just cared less about it when I said this.

Support, AI should not be allowed, if not banning it then users must be upfront with saying they are using AI.

Agree for clear rules, disclosure for both drawn and written would be my preference.

As an artist, albeit one that doesn't do commissions, I absolutely would want to see a ban on AI generated art, considering the majority of it has stolen, and been trained on artists woks who haven't received compensation for their art being used to train it. There's SO SO many people who have been put out of a job because those higher up in corporations don't want to pay an actual artist and fall back on AI generated images so they can pay the least amount of fundage towards a project.

As Lorwolf has a budding art community, I'd prefer there to be clear stances either fully against AI art, the ability to sell it onsite, and use it in CA, or ones that do have a person disclose what they used, and where they got it, and gave credit to every art piece sampled in the making of that AI generated piece. It's a lot of information, but credit must be given where credit is due, and AI works are notoriously BAD about giving artists the credit they deserve.

Edit- I also want to add, with Lorwolf being an art site by the nature of CA's and custom content, allowing AI works to be sold, would very likely chase away a good portion of those who would want to make CA on a regular basis. Why would any artist want to take commissions, or help fund a site, that allows for something that very likely could put them out of a job?

At the very least I'd like a stance on it being used on Custom Apparel as I believe the art community should be somewhat self-policing unless absolutely necessary for Lorwolf staff to step in. I can't necessarily speak on the legal side of things, but I imagine allowing artificially generated items to be sold as UGC creates some grey area on copyright/intellectual property. If people are using it for their personal usage and not selling it to others, that's their prerogative I guess.

Just a heads up, CA already has a rule in place.

@acinonyx Ah! Excellent then. I would feel a lot better adding to a site that outright bans it, or puts super high limitations on what can and cannot be done with it overall.

Support for disclosure, but a ban would be preferred. I can understand why people wouldn't want a ban, though, so even disclosure would be great. I've seen a lot of art on here that looks like it was made with AI, and it's all being sold for moonstones or pebbles or whatever. I could be wrong in that it's AI, but I'm 99% sure it is, and it's kind of disheartening to see, especially if others don't know it's AI.

I would like to see a full ban on AI-generated content, regardless of whether that content is being sold.
