I was thinking about this too, and I thought about doing a player run event. Maybe we could all contribute to a prize pool. I just wasn't sure how we would handle voting, since it doesn't look lile you can like a post here.

I wonder if anyone who was actually doing it would even post here lol. I saw that discussion too. I always vote for the wolves I love most! And sometimes that is a naked wolf, just because I love the color theme or name. I always choose wolves of mine that I love and am proud of in the pageant ^_^

And like Aurelia said, I've got plenty of each medal so even if players are doing this, I don't think it's very many!

There was a period of time (might not be fixed yet, no clue!) where you could "actually" cheese the pageant and guarantee a first place win by not entering until the last day, which would cause everyone entered in that round to tie, and therefore everyone would win first.

Rumor has it that has either been fixed to some degree since people were using it to cheese the come-in-3rd-or-better achievement, or the second theory exists that there simply aren't enough people playing at the moment for this to continue to work and people are mostly getting dumped into rounds that simply didn't otherwise have enough dogs entered to "start" it. :P

I don’t know that I’ve ever purposefully voted for an “ugly wolf” but sometimes I do just pick a random one if I’m short on time (typically the 1st or 2nd option). Besides when I am short on time I do like to look through the wolves and pick whichever ones stand out to me the most though. I always love seeing the amazing wolves that people enter in the pageant. (:

I usually pick ones I think are pretty whether they’re dressed or not. Sometimes I pick wolves that seem to try really hard.

And I like @spoot s idea of planning a cheese group so we can all see each other ^^

To be honest, I just vote for wolves that I like the best aesthetically, and/or ones with colors that match or otherwise compliment their apparel and vice versa. Doesn't matter if it's site apparel or CA. If a wolf is pretty, I vote! I vote for wolves that aren't wearing anything, as well, if I think the colors and genes all look nice together, and, again, it interests me based on my own aesehtics and purposes.

I still like putting my best dressed wolves into the pageant every week, or at least ones who haven't won first place yet. Some day in the future, I would like for all of my main wolves in my first few dens to have one first place, but that will definitely take some time!
