now that i’m absolutely stuffed with christmas lunch and have nothing to do but lay in bed and avoid the impending food coma for as long as possible, it seems like a great time to get around to my intro post !!!!

my name is Cas, and my hobbies include art, writing, reading (i’m on a huge horror kick right now), learning code, finding new music, and making spreadsheets (this is not sarcasm i genuinely love it).

i am so glad i happened to find this site linked on a Virtual Pet Sites list. i’ve been looking for something like this to whittle away some extra time on, and this site is actually so amazing i’m wondering how i’ve never heard of it before. the art is beautiful and there’s so much to do. there’s actually… maybe too much to do, LOL. as i get more used to the site it’s becoming a lot more manageable but i will DEFINITELY take advice on things that need prioritizing or just general advice and tips hahahah.

anyway it’s nice to meet you all and i’m looking forward to amassing a collection of those cool as bat wolves one day… rubs hands together like an Evil fly…

Welcome to lw! My general advice is to start with the achievements, because they take you through all the basic game features. Also, you can do the quests for all the packs in the campaign, not just your own. The dialogue makes it sound like it'll change what pack you're in, but it doesn't :)

In January, there will be a month long event for the Icerun pack. For that event, you'll want at least two level 10 wolves and to have finished the first part of the Icerun pack storyline. So it may be a good idea to play around in the Campaign if you haven't and to focus on Icerun's areas. The Murkwood seasonal isn't until spring, so we have a few more months to wait for our fun. :)

I am also a big horror fan. There are some really great accessories -- both site items and customs -- that can make some good monstrous wolves. I have a few scattered around my dens.
