Analyzing time! Each wolf breed will be a different paragraph, to make it just a tiny bit easier to differentiate them.
Dires work pretty well cuz their passive is Piercer, which ignores shields. They also target the Frontline with both their auto and special, and attack both enemies in the Frontline. Their base attack is also fully maxed out at 10, with a 20% chance to both crit and dodge. Their auto attack only deals 50% damage, however, but their special makes up for it, by making the Frontline enemies bleed over 2 turns for 100% damage. They also have 24 base health.
Kits do pretty much the same thing as Furmurs, except their passive is to gain more speed to dodge attacks and furmurs start battle with a shield. Both 20%. Their base speed is pretty high though, so they do have a higher chance of dodging attacks, and their special has a 100% chance to crit. It doesn't even need to be an attack on them. Any attack on an ally is repelled, and only for the enemy, even if it's an ally accidentally attacking an ally because they have the consumed debuff because of the first consumed synergy meet thing.
Lupins' specials are pretty useful, since they attack every enemy for 15% damage multiple times. I've tried counting, but the numbers pop up real fast and are mostly non-crits, so all salmon-red, but most times i've managed to count somewhere from 7-9. They do only have a 1% dodge chance though, and their base defence is only 5. A lupin's base health is 18, which is also not that good, but kinda good at the same time.
Volmyrs also have a really base stats, with 9 attack and 20% crit and dodge. They only have 15 health unlike the 18 which seems more common in wolf breeds though. Their passive is good, but sadly only applies to themselves with only 10%. Their auto is the same as dires; attacking everyone in the front row for 50% damage. Their special, however, just gives them a 100% crit chance, making it not as good since they might accidentally hit and kill an ally.
Zerdas have a special that's a bit stupid, if you ask me, because if they're low on health and activate it, they will die. Their passive only applies to them, but does give them a headstart with a shield, so there's that. Now their auto is what's really good, cuz no matter who they attack, an ally, albeit random, will always get a shield for 50% of the damage done, which is 100% btw. Base health 18, average. Base attack 6, also average. Base defense isn't really talked about at all anyways, cuz only Volmyrs, dires, and bracchus don't have a single protector synergy. Also, it seems that a majority of wolves have 20% crit and dodge as average.
O joy, Bracchus! They also have Piercer as their passive, but their auto heals a random ally for 100% of the 100% damage done. Base attack 8, pretty good. Base health 18, average. Only a 10% dodge and crit chance. Their special deals 400% damage to a target, which is pretty good! But because this is talking about the Icerun trials and if they'd be good or not, and all enemies are consumed, this 'pretty good' turns into 'not very good' because of their special and passive.
Jocols. Their base health is at 21, which is the highest I've seen so far. Base attack is 5, which isn't too good, and dodge and crit chance is 10%. Their passive has their auto generating double energy for their special. Their auto just has them dealing 100% damage. Their special has them dealing 180% damage and healing all allies for 100% damage done, and with their passive getting them to their special faster, jocols are pretty good. Once again, except for when they accidentally attack an ally.
If you want an analyze of companions, I'd be happy to give that to you. But for now, I'd say any consumed is good to turn against other consumed, even better if it's something like a consumed thrasher or a consumed enderling because both of those have 2 consumed synergies, which means if one of the consumed enemies has the consumed debuff, there is a chance they'll hit one of their own allies, instead of your allies.

@Ello NO, THIS IS INCREDIBLE. SUPER SUPER useful to anyone who wants to know the ins and outs of battling as a whole, not just the trials. I'll definitely be referring back to this in the future

Update! Jocols' specials are no longer as useful when there's a lot of shielding, as can happen with the Protection Thwack auto.

New update! Lupins' specials usually deal 6 damage with an off chance of criting 10 and attack atleast 9 times. I got better at counting, so I can say for sure that it's most likely 10, but geez, oh dear Orrin it's hard to count how many times an enemy was attacked with a Lupins' special!
