[Complete!] Bounty: All Bark no Bite!

All Bark no Bite!

Greetings! I'm Rose Surepaw, ranger for the Windborne clan up here in the north. General Murtagh has ordered me to start hedging away the local wildlife to ensure the safety of our guests arriving soon for the Unity Games!

Typically this is an easy task, as I have a decent relationship with most creatures in the Icerun Territory. However, there is a herd of stubborn Woolback Bovius that refuse to move! I have asked and pleaded, and all they do is just stare at me with bored eyes while they munch away at some grass. Barking at them made them move a little to get away from the ruckus, but I don't have that good of a bark.

I could always resort to my bow, but Bovius are vindictive and long-lived creatures. I'm sure violence will only make things worse in the long run. So I'm looking for Lorwolves and their companions that have a loud, fearsome, or even annoying bark or growl to help me shepherd these stubborn Woolback Bovius to another location. I have quite the collection of bones and knucklebones I am willing to share with those that help me!

Granite slinks over quietly with a mischievous grin, then barks so loudly next to a Bovius that it jumps, despite its heavy weight.

His Ecru Dustraven can mimic barking surprising accurately, so it's brought along as well.

Kind and gentle Chomp is here with his dear Saddleback Swindler. Even though their personalities contrast greatly, they make a great team. Chomp isn't sure if the Saddleback Swindler can bark, but it sure can hiss. Chomp thinks that maybe they don't have to scare them; maybe they can politely ask. The Saddleback Swindler thinks it can trick the Woolback Bovius, but Chomp doesn't agree. Viger sent Chomp and his Saddleback Swindler because the Wolves of Ve are very low on knucklebones and bones.

Sky is known for his alarming, wailing howl that sounds like he's actively being killed. At the den he is politely asked to keep his voice down; now he has mixed feelings about being nominated to hopefully scare the bejeezus out of some innocent bovius by being himself!~

His accompanying furlog deer can belt out some startling and unusual sounds, but it is also here to be a consult for ungulate body language.

Nemo here has a fearsome bark that's sure to help the group succeed altogether! He's brought his companion along with him so its spooky gaze can add to the intimidation factor.

Congrats to all who participated! There was hissing, barking, growling, roaring, and all sorts of noises erupting from your party. You all were so "effective" that even other lorwolves came out of the woodwork to see what was going on. It was not long before the whole herd of Woolback Bovius begrudgingly lumbered out of the field. Soon after the field was cleared, workers from the Windborne clan got to work setting up the stands and preparing the field for the Unity Games. Rose Surepaw thanked you for your cacophonous efforts and gifted each of you a satchel of bones and knucklebones.SimpleIgnis, you won the secret reward and will be receiving 50 Knucklebones!
